This was the third show of the
season. Performances were Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 16 May
through 31 May. This great show would not have been possible without the
sponsorship of Nestle Panama. Since the Pacific Theater Arts Center had
closed, due to Panama Canal Treaty requirements, and our close association
with their operation and the shows many military participants, this show
was entered into the U.S. Army's 1997 World Wide FORSCOM Competition and
earned the following awards: First Place for
Choreography, Costume Design, Supporting Actor (the male chorus), Cameo
Performance, Lighting Design and Sound Design; Second
Place for Musical Plays, Productions, Musical Direction,
Direction, Set Design, Leading Actor & Actress and Supporting Actor
and Actress; Third Place for Supporting Actress. Cast
& Crew Members who received these awards are indicated with an
asterisk following their names below.
